It is the voyage going to Haikou by air which is the first time for me to board on plane. Reach that " summer " of Haikou, it is in fact still early spring in Xi'an. Before liberation and after liberation for a few years, many man of my hometown went to Hainan, few came back home. most married and settle down in Hainan Island, has become a part of Hainan Island.

Before came to Haikou, the impression of Hainan is actually very confused , far from being beautiful or other impressions at all. A little but  the memory is deep: It is actually a natural place banished in Hainan in ancient times, far away from the continent and not afraid of the prisoner can run away . But look at Hainan now, perhaps, far away from continent that Hainan keep pureness and beauty of nature  which is different from  mainland at present. Haikou is like a garden full of green grass and blooming flowers anywhere, let alone other places. The appeal of Haikou stems from its natural and true quality. It is the city where a modern breath and strong native village atmosphere blend together. Subtropical astringent salty sea wind , coconut palm and the opportunity of break away from Guangdong make this small city more and more notable, prosperous. In urban areas, the coconut palm greeting you eyes on every   like the pure and lovely daughter of a humble family. In the previous impression, it is very plain in some people's view that Haikou is more simple, people begin to work after sunrise, hurry to home after sunset,with only one aim to gain a better life, it is unable to find out as for being other.

But after Hainan became province, the changes taking place here let a lot of people feel unbelievable. It is not so pure as what people thought it would be.  When nightfall , night life of here as good as a metropolitan in mainland, hustle and bustle. women from the North with the same purpose come upon the stage at this time, embark upon a political venture, the life of scene of debauchery has filled the air. While the night life internationalizes day by day, Haikou of the daytime,in some   unknown corners by  people, like the village of a city , there are all mud and stench on the seashores at Evergree park,  unexpectedly it can’t drive away romantic lover on the bank , I really admire. A row of rotten unfinished building at roadside near Evergreen Park is very extraordinary, at least tens of billions fund is entangles here firmly, conservative estimate. Hainan developed as a province not only bring prosperity , but also brought negative consequence.

The scene and culture of Haikou is not very characteristic, but very interesting. Five common shrine seems to have some historical relics, in horn of  Su Dongpo in fact, banished Li Deyu, LiGang, Li Guang , Hu Quan , Zhao Ding in Song Dynasty ,etc.  Few travelers stay in Hainan for more than two days, we are no exception.
