        Wuzhi Mountain is the highest mountain in Hainan, symbol of Hainan Island, classified as the tourist spot of A grade by the international tourism organization . Wuzhi Mountain lie in the middle of Hainan Island,   similar to the five fingers, so gain the name. Look far from the distanc, only see that the forest are dark green , the white cloud curls up , like a finger stick up into the sky, the scenery is beautiful. Get the peak of mountain along sinuous mountain path, feel cloud born from the foot.  

   Near to watch Wuzhi Mountain, see 5 " finger " from southwest to the Northeast. That first mountain peak is more than 1300 meters, standing like a wall lofty and steeply. Looking up from pilgrimage in the district of Wuzhi Mountain, the whole mountain peak is like very large Pyramid. The highest peak in Wuzhi Mountain is a forefinger , the elevation is 1876 meters, the lie of the mountain is very strategically located and difficult of access, it is more difficult to climb, there is " overline bridge " where a natural huge stone, legend say " celestial bridge ", fairy maiden play on the bridge. Three peak, originally highest peak of Wuzhi Mountain, is cut by thunder. Four peak, five peak then, these 5 peaks though the peak is discrete, the massif links to each other. Placing oneself in the midst of the ridges and peaks ,seems to be in the fairyland in the cloud and mist at both side, looking down at the South China Sea,the scene is fabulous .   

  Wuzhi Mountain district spread all over tropical virgin forest, layer upon layer, limitless. The main rivers in Hainan all rise from this place , the beauty of the rivers and mountains enhances each other's beauty. The forest zone of Wuzhi Mountain contains the green treasure-house of the immortal good tree in countless. Entering virgin forest, fallen leaves reach more than 50 centimeters thick. The air is full of a kind of unique resin fragrant smell , a transparent gauze kerchief of picture, surround between the deep dark green valleys, drift gently. Wuzhi Mountain is still a kingdom of the rare birds and animals, the animal of the life here, has many types: amphibian , reptiles , birds , beasts ,etc.

Since ancient times, receive the attention of the men of literature and writings about Wuzhi Mountain , leave a lot of immensely popular poems . Qiu Ju's " poem of Wuzhi Mountain " is the most famous, spread wide. Now, still there are many ancient inscriptions on precipices and record of events inscribed on a tablet in Wuzhi Mountain district, have offered the important materials for the study the history of Li nationality struggling with the social economy , politics .
